Utility Tree Trimmer / Utility Tree Worker / Groundsman
This is a full-time position as a Utility Tree Trimmer, Worker or Groundsman/women completing Mechanical Operations on Utility Rights of Ways. Applicants will be required to work on the road but shifts can be flexible. Wage dependent on level of experience and/or qualifications.

$600/yr allowance for Personal Protective Equipment

Qualifications:
Alberta Utility Tree Trimmer/Worker Certification or equivalent of
Past experience/education in environmental, arboricultural, forestry
Valid class 3 drivers license with safe driving record
Tickets including Standard First Aid with CPR, CSTS and ATV / Snowmobile Training
Public Relations
An understanding of Alberta Legal Land Descriptions
Weed and tree identification abilities
Organized, self-motivation, team player, positive attitude and leadership abilities
Utility Environmental Consultant/Patroller-Consenter
This is a full time position as a Utility Patroller/Consenter conducting vegetation assessments and landowner consultations. Applicants will be required to work on the road but shifts can be flexible. Although we are willing to train for the position all or some of the below listed qualifications are considered an asset and will reflect on starting wage.

Organized, legible writing, self-motivation, team player, positive attitude and leadership abilities
Computer knowledge an asset
Herbicide Applicator
Summer position applying herbicides on Oil & Gas and Utility Facilities and Right of Ways for control of noxious weeds and brush with the use of a 1 Ton spray unit with hose and hand-gun as well as backpack applications. Other crew opportunities include grass mow, grass seeding and site assessments. Applicants will be required to work on the road for extended periods of time due to the position being seasonal and weather dependent. Shifts can be flexible so that a limited amount of scheduled time off can be achieved. Although we are willing to train for the position all or some of the below listed qualifications are considered an asset and will reflect on starting wage.

Overtime is encouraged and paid after 44 hrs a week at time and a half
Qualifications:
Certified Industrial Pesticide Applicator License or Authorized Assistant
Valid class 5 drivers license with safe driving record
Tickets including Standard First Aid with CPR, CSTS, H2S and ATV Training
Past experience in environmental, forestry, agricultural and reclamation fields
An understanding of Alberta Legal Land Descriptions
