Our Story

Sure Shot Environmental was started by Sadie Langevin and Shawna Olson in October of 2010. The team consisted of five Utility Consultants and two Herbicide Application Crews. Safety meetings were held at the kitchen table!

Since opening our doors in 2010, we have grown to over 34 full-time employees.  In 2017 we expanded our operations to support this growth by opening an Operations Office and Shop in Lacombe, AB.  Now, in 2022, we proudly boast an extensively trained team, a centralized location, and the capability to expand our operations into a wide range of Vegetation Management Projects.  2022 also brought a new look to Sure Shot Environmental, with a update to our logo that incorporates the "SS", increases the readability of our name, and  brings a new symbol to our company - the leaf.

In 2017, we had the honor of adding to our team one of our mentors in the industry since the early 90s – our General Manager who brought with him over 30 years of experience.

We are building off our foundation of providing outstanding customer service in all our interactions, from project start-up through to completion.  Our management team is experienced, dedicated, safety-orientated, and focused on excellence in project delivery.  We believe that providing our customer’s with high levels of integrity and honesty demonstrates our commitment to the success of both our company and their Vegetation Management Programs.

In our peak season, we employ 65+ team members, and, although we are no longer a “small” company, we have never forgotten where we came from. The same integrity we maintained with our clients in 2010 is still of utmost importance today. Our number one priority is getting our team members home safe to their families at the end of the day.
